After days of rain in Paris, the sun shone brightly for the Chanel spring 2018 show. Presented in the Grand Palais in front of a giant waterfall, more than 80 looks were presented, most punctuated with some sort of ultra-chic rain gear.

Kaia Gerber opened the show wearing a fringe tube top with a matching coat. As pulsating music thumped in the background, models stomped the runway wearing clear boots, both ankle and thigh high. Some rocked plastic rain coats and gloves; others wore tie-on bonnets. As for the clear bucket hats? We’re counting down the days until we spot them on street style stars and fashion fiends alike.

The Chanel spring 2018 show was divided into three distinct sections. The navy tie dye moments will work on your next beach vacation; an all-white assortment is sure to appeal to alternative brides everywhere. British model Adwoa Aboah starred in the black and white section, rocking a white top and black mini skirt.

I’ll spare you the chasing waterfalls kicker, as I’m sure you’ve seen it enough on Instagram, but do know you’ll be chasing these pieces straight to your local Chanel store in about six months.
