First-generation 

The first generation encircles period 1970 to 1996. Third generation

 During 2002–2012, the management of Range Rover was changed and ownership came in the hands of BMW. Now the design was made to have BMW’s 4.4-litre M62 V8 engine in the upcoming needs. The biggest change was the innovation of automatic transmission instead of a manual transmission.
